Freshmen Council meets weekly in the Gallery of the Memorial Union.
Meetings begin Sundays at 7:30.
Freshmen Council is a student organization dedicated to supporting, educating, and representing the freshman class at Iowa State University. We provide a foundation for growth and opportunity for students. Freshmen Council, or FC, is composed of seven different sub-committees. At the beginning of fall and spring semester, any full-time student can apply for one of these sub-committees. At the end of the semester, members are given the opportunity to apply for executive board positions, which they then hold through the first semester of the next school year. As a whole, Freshmen Council sponsors and organizes social events, educational forums, study groups, and multi-cultural events. FC is a great way to get involved, gain leadership skills, and meet new people! Freshmen Council is funded by the Government of the Student Body at Iowa State University.
